Certificates of Appreciation from Children in the Wilderness

The sample of gratitude letters from the headteacher and students are handwritten because the schools do not have printers. Electricity, paper, ink and parts are too expensive.

Certificate of Appreciation for Candyce H. Stapen and Henny’s Kids

June 2018

Dear Candyce and Henny’s Kids

On behalf of Children in the Wilderness Zambezi, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your generous donation of ten OLPC computers to Ngamo Primary and the organisation and sponsorship of the training for both schools in Zimbabawe and Zambia.

What a gift this is and will certainly assist these rural schools in equipping their students for the first world. Your donation to our Children in the Wilderness programme makes it possible for us to continue to achieve our aim: that of inspiring rural children to care for their natural heritage and to become the custodians of these areas in the future.

We are thrilled that since our inception in 2001, as as of the end of 2017, we have hosted over 6,000 children on annual camps and since starting EcoClubs in 2012 we have hosted over 6,500 children and trained over 250 EcoMentors in six southern African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe, changing their lives dramatically and positively. Thanks to donations such as yours we have been able to grow the programme each year: reaching more children, more often and ensuring a positive impact in their lives.

Thank you for investing in Africa’s children.

Henny’s Kids continues to invest in educating children by offering scholarships and other assistance.
