Soccer Balls
Henny’s Kids donated soccer balls to Bisate School, Kinigi, Rwanda, in 2018. The school is relatively close to Wilderness’ Bisate, a hillside rainforest lodge that serves as a base for visitors to Volcanoes National Park, home to endangered mountain gorillas. About 1,800 primary and secondary students attend the school.
The soccer program began when a donor visiting Twabuka School, Zambia, noticed that the children played soccer with plastic bags tied with twine. In 2017, he gifted the school with real soccer balls. The results: a new program and joy for everyone.

We continue to raise funds for additional soccer balls.
